Congratulations on getting into the real estate business Renee'!

I am sure a lot of this stuff can be overwhelming and information overload, especially for someone new like yourself, but you are doing the right things already (i.e. reading industry blogs and proactively learning where to start).

We are more than happy to give you some very specific recommendations on which companies to use and why as well as which services and strategies are going to be important for you. Just send us an email at info@realestatemarketingblog.org. You can also refer to our post on Top Online Marketing Tools for Real Estate.

Here is a short list as well of necessary items you will need to generate leads:

1) Website / Blog
2) IDX Solution
3) Search Engine Optimization Campaign
4) Twitter / Facebook Presence
5) Search Engine Marketing Campaign (Pay Per Click)

If you need recommendations on any of the above or more info on how to get started then please just let us know in your email and we can recommend some reputable companies.

Cheers to a prosperous 2010!

Thank you for the interesting article.

My husband and I are just beginning our real estate career. We have the desire, ethics and concern for not just being successful, but also in giving the best personal service to each individual client. We'd like to make a running start, using the technical advantages in marketing today. Which direction can you point us in to have the advantage over the average newbie coming out of the state exam? What tips, companies and services did you find most helpful at the NAR conference?

Thank you for sharing with the real estate community.
