Real Estate Blog Posting Ideas

Are you having trouble coming up with ideas for your blog? Are you interested in finding new ways to market your listings to prospective buyers…? Well, why not combine the two by blogging your property listings!
It is easy, creative and a great way to showcase your properties. There are a few different ways that you can do this:
1. Create a new blog for each listing.
2. Blogging your listings within your blog.
3. One blog for all of your listings.
The easiest and most time effective choice would probably be #2: blogging your listings within your blog. It would be easy to create categories based upon neighborhoods, price, recently sold or even number of bedrooms. It makes for easy management of your listings while enabling you to effectively market each listing. It would be wise to have an exclusive “property listing” section inside your regular business blog. This way you won’t be mixing quality content (regular blog posts) with featured listing posts.
The great thing to blogging about your listings is that it is a great way to organize your listings based upon certain criteria (i.e. neighborhoods), it’s easy to include lots of pertinent information, photos, and relevant neighborhood links. Just remember to include good, unique content about each neighborhood, about each home and use plenty of pictures! Maybe even think about virtual tours or uploading videos.
Benefits to blogging your listings:
• Easy listing management
• Great way to advertise listings
• Give important info about the neighborhood
• Easy for buyers to locate, navigate and find important facts & photos
• Appeases sellers
• Readers can see you as an expert for that neighborhood
• Provides an excellent opportunity for buyer feedback (comments)
Blogging is a great tool for real estate marketing, increasing your exposure on the search engines and developing yourself as an expert in your real estate area of expertise. Blogging topics are endless – you can write about anything from community events to listings, to current events/news to a day and the life of a realtor.
