There is no set time or schedule that the search engines publicize as to when they re-index or update their indices so providing a time expectation for you is difficult. That being said, we normally see blogs and sites get updated within 2-4 weeks.

A great way to get the website and blog updated soon would be to submit a sitemap to Google Webmaster Tools and Bing Webmaster Tools. Another great way would be to get a link from a website that has a lot of authority in the search engines already. Google and Bing already visit these websites more frequently and if a link to your website and blog is on one of these sites than it will force the search engines to visit your site sooner.

Good luck! Let us know if you need anything else.

Generally how far behind are other search engines in matching Google algorithms? Once all major search engines can read the text in flash files, would you still encourage descriptive meta tags, or only when additional description is pertinent?
