Google AdWords Template Center

Google Adwords has finally added an easy way to create new campaigns in its system. With the introduction of their new "Template Center" AdWords users can now create new keyword targeted and placement targeted campaigns with a few easy steps as opposed to setting up new campaigns completely from scratch.

New! Template Center now available. Template Center is a free tool that allows My Client Center users to create AdWords campaign templates and distribute them to all their linked MCC accounts. Accounts managed by the MCC can quickly and easily download, modify and use pre-defined campaigns created with their needs in mind. Learn more

This is a huge help to companies like ours who manage multiple accounts at once for our clients. With that said though it still proves very useful for smaller AdWords users who want to really get the most out of their AdWords campaigns by setting them up right – making multiple campaigns that are extremely specific to what the ad and keyword theme is. The AdWords Editor has been extremely helpful up to this point in creating multiple campaigns in a very easy way, but this new Template Center should prove much more efficient.

Some of the ADVANTAGES I have seen thus far from using the Template Center are:

  • No more waiting for massive changes in the AdWords Editor to be posted
  • Very simple step by step guide to creating new campaigns
  • Takes less time to create a new campaign with this new feature then having to create one from scratch
  • Can distribute templates to all users of My Client Center so they have access to them as well

Although this tool will save a lot of time and effort in new campaign setups I highly recommend that the importance of a well researched, well thought out campaign is not overlooked. Remember that these are your (or your customers’) valuable ad dollars and each new account should receive the preparation it needs to be as effective and efficient as possible. Enjoy the new tool.
