		<description>I am glad you highlighted this post from Aaron Wall.  I thought it was a great post and that members of the real estate community really need to be on the watch.

It certainly shows that you need to grow your brand to establish credibility and gain visibility in the search engines.  I hope real estate profefessionals grow beyond their names and create brands based on their areas of service as that should allow a greater depth of content that will last through changes in the search engines.</description>

It sounds to me that there is definitely some consolidation occurring which Google is attempting to protect gross revenues by establishing tiered search preferences for clients willing to pay a premium to keep their brands in front of the public.

There are options that local real estate professionals could explore by showing on their individual websites a &quot;search powered by&quot; search engine portal.  That would give Google something to seriously think about. 

I&#039;m a big fan of Trulia, Zillow, Yahoo Real Estate, and all of the like.  However, I wouldn&#039;t want portal access control of any of my firm&#039;s listings (realtor.com).  

The Internet should be a search free zone for content (real estate listings).  Perhaps local professionals should begin developing strategies for aligning with other search engines as a result.</description>
